Rendering & export
The Render tab is the delivery desk: frame, quality, then stills, video, batches, the queue — and the one-click catalog set.
Output frame
- Aspect — Viewport (what you see), 16:9 (YouTube/wide), 1:1 (feed square), 4:5 (portrait feed), 9:16 (stories/reels).
- Resolution — Auto (matches your display, clamped to a sensible range) or fixed Small/Medium/Large/Ultra (960–2560 px long edge).
- Frame samples (1–64) — accumulation per exported frame. This is export quality, independent of the live-viewport HQ/MED/LOW chip. 32 is the sweet spot; push to 64 for hero shots.
- Frame rate — 30 or 60 fps for video.
- Motion blur — a real shutter (0–360°), sampled across the frame; needs more than one sample.
Still images
| Button | Output |
|---|---|
| Render still PNG / WebP | The current frame through the full recipe. The viewport camera button and Render menu snapshots are shortcuts to the same render. |
| Render still EXR (linear) | A scene-linear OpenEXR for compositing pipelines — untonemapped, ready for grading elsewhere. |
| Batch render views (.zip) | Every saved view as a named PNG in one zip (up to 32 views). |
| Contact sheet (PNG) | All saved views tiled on one captioned overview — the client-approval sheet. |
Catalog set
One click, twelve listing images. The catalog set renders four standard views (three-quarter, front, top, side) in each of the three classic golds — yellow, rose, white — and downloads them as a zip. Part finishes are respected (brushed stays brushed); only the gold color varies. It lives on the tool rail and in the Render panel.
Video
| Button | Output |
|---|---|
| Render MP4 | H.264 MP4 of the timeline — the universal delivery. |
| Render WebM | VP9 WebM — small, high-quality, web-native. |
| Render GIF | A lightweight animated GIF (auto-sized, 12 fps) for chats and marketplaces. |
| Record 360 | A turntable video without touching your timeline — it borrows the duration and turn settings, records, and restores your work. |
| Record tour | Same idea for a saved-views camera tour (two views minimum). |
Exports are deterministic — every frame is rendered at full quality with your samples setting, not screen-captured. If the timeline is empty, video exports offer a turntable so you always get something beautiful.
Watermark
Stamp your logo on still exports: choose a transparent PNG, set opacity and size — it applies to single stills, batch zips, queued stills, and the contact sheet (bottom-right placement). Video stays clean.
Render queue
Line up deliverables and run them back to back: Queue still / MP4 / GIF / batch, each capturing the current recipe, camera, and timeline when queued. Run queue executes in order with per-job status; cancel any time. Fifty jobs max — enough for a full collection's worth of outputs over lunch.
Viewport quality vs export quality
The HQ/MED/LOW chip changes only the live viewport (resolution scale and idle refinement). Exports always use the Render tab's resolution and samples — a LOW viewport still exports at full quality.
Render templates
The whole delivery recipe — frame, samples, image grade, effects — saves as a render template to your Drive: your house style, one click away on every new piece. Export/import as a file to share it.
