Animation & dynamics

GemGpu's animation is built for jewelry marketing: seamless listing loops, reveals, exploded assembly stories, and sparkle you can put on a beat — without keyframe surgery. The Anim tab authors it; the timeline dock below the viewport edits it.

Start in one click

Recipes lay out a complete, ready-to-export timeline (replacing what's there — one undo step back):

Recipe What you get
Listing loop A 6-second seamless 360° orbit — the product-listing video.
Reveal Fade in from black, dolly into the framed pose, gentle orbit.
Construction Every part flies in from an exploded start while the camera orbits — the "how it's built" story.
Macro hero Dolly + lens zoom + slow spin + a timed glint sweep.

Or go simpler: Turntable adds a constant-speed revolution (turns and direction adjustable), and Camera tour glides through your saved views.

One click on Reveal: fade, dolly, orbit — export-ready.

Keyframes when you want them

Object key / Camera key / Object + camera capture the current pose at the playhead. Move the playhead, reframe, key again — GemGpu interpolates with smooth, professional camera paths (it arcs around the piece, never cutting through). Keys are WYSIWYG even with dynamics layered on top.

Dynamics

Dynamics are GemGpu's signature: layered, parametric motion clips that stack on top of whatever the timeline is doing. Add an orbit on top of a turntable; pulse the lights while the camera drifts. Every dynamic is a bar on the timeline with an amount dial, easing, window, and mirror/duplicate.

Six families in the Anim tab (collapsed until you need them):

Family Dynamics
Camera Orbit, Incline, Dolly, FOV zoom, Pan, Roll, Spin, Env spin, Intro zoom, Arc, Handheld, Tumble, Spiral, Speed ramp
Loop Pendulum, Sway, Bob, Breathe, Crane, Glint, Drift, Twinkle
Light Light pulse, Warmth drift, Fire boost, Hue drift
Part Explode part, Part spin, Fade, Levitate, Pop-in, Halo orbit (work on the selected part)
Assembly Explode all, Assemble, Cascade (staggered, whole-piece choreographed batches)
Post Fade in/out, Exposure swell, Bloom pulse, Grain pulse, Focus in/out

Hover to preview

Rest your pointer on any dynamics button and it plays live on your piece, looping until you move away — nothing is added, nothing touches your timeline or undo history. Click when you like what you see.

Hovering Orbit, then Twinkle — live previews without touching the timeline.

Search

The field above the families filters all of them at once — by name, family, or plain words: sparkle finds Glint, Twinkle, and Fire boost; wobble finds Handheld. Enter adds a single exact match.

Seamless loops, guaranteed

Loop-family dynamics run in whole cycles and land back exactly where they started — mathematically, not approximately. When every layer on the timeline loops clean, the summary shows ∞ SEAMLESS LOOP: your export will repeat without a visible jump. Twinkle deserves a special note: every stone flares its fire on its own random beat (pavé shimmers rather than pulsing in lockstep), yet the loop stays provably seamless.

The timeline dock

Everything is directly editable:

Duration rescales everything proportionally (with 6s / 15s / 30s platform presets); preview speed and ping-pong affect only your preview, never the export.

Dragging a glint clip onto the beat, retiming it, mirroring a second copy.

Templates

A finished timeline is a reusable asset: Save template stores it in your Drive; apply it to any other piece and the motion adapts. Export/import as .json to share outside your account.

Exporting motion
